Joanna from Bamboo Beats sent over some great photos of the space all decked out for the party.
I'm so glad she got some photos of Iska's beautiful cakes because by the time our camera made it over there they were almost gone. And those adorable lace-rimmed dessert plates are courtesy of Sheena from Totally Tabletops.

We've Popped The Cork!!
Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate our Launch Party with us on Thursday. We had a wonderful time and it was great to see so many new faces in addition to our supportive friends, family, and vendor partners. Here are a couple of not-so-good pics from the party (I think our photographer had too much champagne). I'm trying to hunt down some better ones, so if any of you have any please send them my way.
Lumiere Bridal did a couple of very cool wall projections with some of their videos and our logo (this photo does not do them justice). Jonathan and Jaro are extremely talented so check them out if you haven't already.

A view from upstairs - Miki's Flowers created some gorgeous flower arrangements for the night - thanks Miki!
The fabulous Bamboo Beats supplied music for the evening.
Jeanne talking with Dixie Duncan from Seattle Met Bride and Groom. In the background is the amazing cakes by Iska Pallis from Cake. Everyone was raving about how amazing they were and asking us where we found her - we'll never tell ;).
We cannot say enough good things about the lovely ladies from Ravishing Radish. They supplied the wonderful bites for the evening and as usual, the food was delicious and they were a joy to work with.

Studio Boum in Daily Candy!

Thanks to the ladies over at Daily Candy for mentioning Studio Boum in their Spring 2008 Wedding Guide! They put together another great collection of local vendors that you should definitely check out - we're featured under the Storyboard section. To read the whole guide click here.
Studio Pics

Jeanne and I took some pics of the studio space for some upcoming press and our media launch party (details to come). We had a hard time getting them to come out right because this space is very deep and the ceilings are so high the flash gets lost. I could really use some photography classes, but this should give you an idea of how great the space looks! All we need now is our custom curtain installation from Rented Elegance and we'll be all set. To see more images of the studio, including some professional photos from our friend Jeff LaPlante, visit the Studio Boum Flickr page here.
